For those of you in good physical shape, the trip can be combined with a trip up to Grøthogna (1401m) or Sylvola (1040m).

Walk in the footsteps of Carl von Linnès, the famous botanist from Sweden who rambled and did research in this area many years ago. Ryvang Gård is located 15 km from Svukuriset and 11 km from Valdalen and Hävlingen.

The most delicious waffles and coffee are for sale in the renovated and modernised barn at Ryvang Gård. (No meals served during winter season.) Between 30 June and 18 September, the vessel MF Syløra travels on Grøvelsjøen lake, and will take you straight to Ryvang.
